Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, NY seeks a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for partners, staff, clients and visitors. This role controls access, patrols premises, monitors alarms, and coordinates with police and emergency services as needed. Strong observation, communication, and discretion are essential.
The position is full-time, non-exempt, with base salary in the mid-60s thousands depending on experience and location; overtime eligible where applicable.
Sat - Sun: 8 am - 8 pm
Mon: 4 pm - 11 pm
Wed: 9 am - 4 pm
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for Firm Partners, employees, clients, guests and vendors. This role monitors and authorizes all incoming and outgoing traffic to protect persons and property against theft and vandalism at all times.
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is non-exempt meaning it is overtime pay eligible.
