Allied Universal® in Quakertown, PA is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide visitor services, access control, and front-desk support at a distribution site. This role offers fixed shifts with optional extra shifts through the Earn More program.

The position pays $17.46 per hour, requires CPR certification, and prior customer service and badge experience. You’ll work on a Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM schedule, gain hands-on security experience, and have opportunities to advance

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor IDs, issuing credentials, and directing guests.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, and coordinate with site personnel on arrivals and security concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms following emergency procedures.
• Maintain logs and reports of visitor activity and incidents.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  • Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee access badges.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  • Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm monitoring, response protocols, and troubleshooting alarm issues.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  • Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.
• CPR Certification (B205)
  • A valid CPR certification is mandatory. Candidates must provide proof of certification from a recognized organization.
• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  • Candidates should possess prior customer service experience. This includes effective communication skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by following site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate with site personnel regarding visitor arrivals, scheduled appointments, and security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity, incidents, and other security‑related observations, and promptly notify appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
