Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control in Jefferson City, TN. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location.

You will respond to access‑related incidents, patrol assigned areas, document incidents and daily activities, and escalate concerns to leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, gates, parking areas, and restricted zones, to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
