This full-time role supports a dynamic team and uses computer or tablet systems to document security activity, respond to incidents, and communicate with site contacts and responders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations, notifying site contacts and responders as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of industrial facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeters, reporting issues.
• Deter unauthorized access by enforcing check-in procedures and documenting incidents.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned industrial facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing site activity, enforcing visitor and contractor check-in procedures, and documenting security-related incidents accurately.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
