Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points; verify credentials, authorize entry, and log visitors.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access, directing authorized traffic to receiving, parking, and check-in areas.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; notify site contacts and document activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, entrances, parking, and perimeter; report unusual conditions.

As a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Hartwell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points at an automotive manufacturing location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to help deter unauthorized entry, directing authorized traffic to designated receiving, parking, and check-in areas.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-area entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
