Job summary

Allied Universal, Seattle, WA, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Validation) to safeguard clients at a commercial real estate site. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol observations in reports and communicate to site management and leadership.

Pay Rate: $24.75 / Hour

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity while following site-specific entry and credentialing procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns in accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
