Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
