Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and control entry/exit for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond calmly to alarms and incidents; document observations and communicate concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entry and exit points for trucks and vehicles.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and control entry and exit for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, or other security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entry and exit points for trucks, trailers, and personal vehicles, following site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
