Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law; licensing per state/regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points at a high-volume logistics location; verify entry and maintain visitor/contractor records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeters.
• Document daily activities and access-control observations accurately in required systems.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points for a high-volume logistics and distribution location, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
