As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound truck, trailer, and pedestrian activity at entry points; report irregularities, damaged barriers, or unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site representatives and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
