Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Deter unauthorized entry by observing traffic, reporting unusual activity, and following escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry by observing inbound and outbound traffic, reporting unusual activity, and following established escalation procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
