As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Authorization Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pre-Employment Requirements:

Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED (C137), 1+ Years Prior Military Experience (Hawaii Only) (C166)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor and contractor arrivals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate incident reports.
• Observe package-handling and transportation areas for potential security-related concerns, report hazards or suspicious activity, and support a professional environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of prior military experience for Hawaii positions.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
