Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and exterior perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
