Qualifications

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Credential Control in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, manage badges and visitor access, respond to alarm panel activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, policy violations, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
