Allied Universal in West Chester, OH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) to monitor and protect healthcare locations and support access control. Build a flexible schedule with Shift times and a strong customer-service focus, reporting incidents and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
