Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a day schedule of 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in security, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. This position supports site safety and customer service goals.

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution center.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Part Time Entryin Plant City, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
