Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Beatrice, NE. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving role emphasizes teamwork and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain access-related records.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, shipping and receiving locations, and other restricted spaces per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, shipping and receiving locations, and other restricted spaces in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
