Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Audit in Sioux City, IA, to manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records in accordance with site procedures.

The role requires handling access control procedures, patrolling, incident response, and reporting. A high school diploma and background check are required; a drug screen may be administered

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorization credentials, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report access irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control information accurately and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
