Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Management in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Report unusual activity, access-control concerns, and facility conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
