Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue temporary access materials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, potential policy violations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
