Overview

Are you passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the highest standards of security? As the Security Officer stationed at our main entrance lobby, you'll be the face of safety and hospitality, greeting visitors and vendors with a friendly demeanor while vigilantly safeguarding our premises. Reporting to the Manager of Safety & Security, your role is pivotal in maintaining records, controlling identification, performing routine security rounds, and fielding phone inquiries. Join us in this dynamic role where your alertness and commitment to excellence will protect both people and property, all while making a positive impact on every guest experience.

*This position requires an armed security license within the state of Tennessee.*

*Available Position*

Monday - Friday 11:00pm - 7:30am

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control ingress/egress to the facility through electronic and/or manual operations.
  • Manage the access control system and monitor access activity to ensure building security.
  • Conduct security rounds of the building and property to ensure safety.
  • Assist in security escorting of artists, guests, and event-related items.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI and Ministry policies among team members, contractors, and visitors.
  • Issue badges to guests, visitors, contractors, and temporary team members.
  • Maintain logs for visitors, vendors, contractors, and badges.
  • Prepare monthly reports on system status, badge logs, and visitor logs.
  • Collaborate with HR on badge management for team members.
  • Implement Threat Response Protocols when necessary.
  • Answer and redirect security calls appropriately.
  • Monitor security cameras, report malfunctions, and maintain activity logs.
  • Monitor social media for threats related to K-LOVE and Air1, forwarding concerns for review.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Inspect incoming mail for safety.
  • Assist in training team members on safety and security matters.
  • Contribute to developing and updating security procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a valid Tennessee Driver's License.
  • Registered armed guard in Tennessee.
  • 2-3 years security or dispatch experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Investigative skills preferred.
