Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join a dynamic team in Phoenix as a Security Officer - Operations Center at a financial institution. You will monitor and patrol, manage access control, and deliver excellent customer service in a welcoming environment.

You will respond to incidents calmly, prepare detailed reports, and support site-specific procedures to deter security-related concerns.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and other security-related observations.
