Job Skills / Requirements

Position of Retail Security Officer is a STANDING/WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on-duty. Officers must feel comfortable standing for prolonged periods of time. As a retail security officer, you will be held to above-quality standards as a server of our surrounding communities. As a retail security officer, you must maintain a commanding presence and high-quality customer service skills. You must also have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site calmly, effectively, and efficiently.

As a retail security officer with our company, you will be responsible for initiating and completing daily reports. As a talented team member, you will command a high-standing presence when posted at our sites.

Some of the other duties include but are not limited to:

• Command a presence
• Enforce Contract Standards
• Enforce employment guidelines
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft
• Communicate constantly with the manager on duty regarding any suspicious activity
• Implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk
• Monitor and respond to alarms to detect potential theft
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries or concerns.
• Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards adhering to post orders

Required Qualifications:

• MUST BE ABLE TO STAND/WALK FOR DURATION OF SHIFT
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND CHECK

• WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED (SATURDAY, SUNDAY OR BOTH)

Thursday through Saturday - 1200x0800 (12pm to 8pm)

Compensation: Compensation for this role is set and is not subject to negotiation.
