The University of Toledo is seeking a Security Officer 2 to oversee daily security operations on the Health Science Campus. You will schedule staffing, handle incident reports, and coordinate with campus police and hospital staff to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Under the direction of the Hospital Security Director and AssistantDirector, the Security Officer 2 is responsible for carrying outlead functions for the security staff such as scheduling, shiftstaffing, incident reports, assignments, test bank training, shiftroll call and assigning daily tasks. The Security Officer 2 (SO2)works closely with the University of Toledo Police and HospitalStaff to provide a safe and secure environment for all patients,visitors, staff, faculty and students. The SO2 is always aware oftheir surroundings, using situational awareness to identifycriminal or unsafe conditions. The SO2 is responsible for thedispatch center operations and field operations on the HealthScience Campus and to protect and serve the UT/UTMC community. TheSO2 adheres to and administers all required Security OperatingProcedures as well as University customer service iCare Standardsat all times. The SO2 must attend and follow all departmentspecific safety education and training in an effort to create asafe work environment for all.
