Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• IAHSS (Security) certification or FDLE (Law Enforcement) preferred.
• Driver's License (State of Florida) required.
• Associate's degree in related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and detection services.
• Assist customers.
• Respond to incidents and intervene as needed.
• Provide monitoring to ensure safety of team members, patients, and visitors.
• Complete communication and documentation in required tools.
• Conduct weapons screening as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Security Officer

The Security Officer performs general safety & security duties including:

Patrol and detection services

Assisting customers

Response and intervention responsibilities

Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety

Completes communication and documentation tools

Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner

Completes other duties as assigned

Required specific skills also includes life safety and weapons screening techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures

Driver's License (State of Florida)

IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year

Security D - Within 90 days

Preferred: FDLE (Law Enforcement)

Education

High School or Equivalent

Preferred: Associate's in Related Field

Experience

1 year Customer Service

Preferred: 2 years Security

Status: Full Time

Shift Hours: 10:30 PM-7:00 AM

Days: Sunday - Thursday
