BayCare is seeking a Security Officer for St. Anthony's Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL. This part-time position focuses on patrols, safety monitoring, and assisting patients and visitors to maintain a secure environment.

The role includes weapons screening, life-safety duties, and thorough documentation. The successful candidate will work the night shift, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, and contribute to a culture of trust and care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: Associate's in Related Field.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and detection services.

• Response and intervention responsibilities.
• Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety.
• Completes communication and documentation tools.
• Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner.

The Security Officer performs general safety & security duties including:

• Patrol and detection services
• Assisting customers
• Response and intervention responsibilities
• Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety

• Completes other duties as assigned
• Required specific skills also includes life safety and weapons screening techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures

• Driver's License (State of Florida)
• IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year
• Security D - Within 90 days
• Preferred: FDLE (Law Enforcement)
