Securitas USA in Pleasant Prairie, WI, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to help protect people and property. The role includes patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. No prior experience is required.

Must be 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED. Strong customer service, calmness under pressure, and sharp observation and communication skills are essential.

Security Officer - Part Time

Site Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI

Wage : $22.86/HR

Schedule : Saturday, Sunday, & Monday 7am-3pm

No Experience Necessary,

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
