Job summary

Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh seeks a Loss Prevention Officer to ensure safety for guests and staff and to enforce hotel policies. You will document incidents and perform security tasks as required by the Dept Manager.

The role requires vigilance, the ability to observe and report, and a professional demeanor. Prior security experience is preferred, with Red Cross/First Aid certification welcomed, and flexible availability including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report on all assignments.
• Keep accurate records and communicate using radio equipment.
• Record and report any unsafe conditions while patrolling hotel property.
• Ensure protection of hotel, guest, and employee property.
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
• Work am, pm, overnights, weekends and holidays; shifts vary and flexibility is required.
• Standing, walking, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

The Loss Prevention Officer ensures the safety and tranquil stay of hotel guests and employees, to enforce the policies and procedures of the hotel and to record in writing any assigned task. Prepare incident and accident reports accurately and in the format specified. Other security and safety tasks as required by Dept Manager.
