Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer - Full Time to help maintain a safe and secure environment for client sites in Brewster, WA. You will monitor premises, control access, patrol locations, and enforce regulations while remaining vigilant.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, conflict resolution, and reporting safety issues. Training is provided, uniforms free, and benefits include insurance and 401K; candidate must be 18+, a High School Diploma or GED, and able to pass

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Brewster, WA

Wage: $24.50/HR

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Will be working in a guard shack.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property to prevent trespassing.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed - software and smart device usage.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have the ability to walk / stand for long periods of time.
• Must have good critical thinking and reporting skills.
• The ideal candidate would have the ability to work varying schedules and shifts, as the schedule is still being developed - open availability preferred.
