Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Bellevue, NE. The position pays $19.00 per hour and offers a schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, de-escalation, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe environment for clients. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service, and basic tech skills with a phone or tablet.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control and patrol duties at client sites.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify safety issues and report hazards promptly.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• Provide information to employees and guests as needed.
• Utilize security devices and technology during shifts.
• Conduct comprehensive foot patrols of the property.
• Assist with fire watch and other security tasks as required.
• Be flexible for additional hours during holidays per client requests.

Part-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Bellevue, NE

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedule: Sat: 12PM - 8PM & Sun: 8AM - 8PM

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.


• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.


• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Conduct extensive foot patrols of the property.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.


• May be asked to pick up additional hours as requested by client during holidays.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
