Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Officer to help keep residents, guests, and team members safe. You will patrol buildings, inspect access points, respond to alarms, document incidents, and support risk management while overnight and daytime shifts.

Requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related security experience. Must have strong judgment, communication skills, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license if required. Pay range is $14.75-$18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
• Basic computer proficiency; valid driver's license if required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points.
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity.
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas.
• Assist with emergency response procedures.
• Escort residents and team members after hours.
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Secure and unlock areas per policy.
