Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for residents, guests, and team members. You will patrol facilities, respond to alarms, investigate incidents, and support compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements include HS Diploma/GED and 18+; 2+ years of related security experience preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required. Opportunities exist across day and overnight shifts with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• 2+ years related security experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license (if required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points; respond to alarms and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity; complete daily security logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas; assist with emergency procedures.
• Escort residents and team members after hours.
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Secure and unlock areas per policy.
• Protect residents and property while overnight and daily operations run smoothly.
