Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time Security professional at Franklin Hospital in Franklin, WI. The role involves patrolling the facility, monitoring access, and responding to threats during evening hours.

16 hours per week, primarily 3:00pm–11:00pm, with responsibilities including incident documentation and emergency readiness. Minimum requirements include a Wisconsin driver license within 3 months and a Wisconsin CCW license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Wisconsin driver's license within 3 months of hire date.
• Must hold Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License within 90 days of hire date.
• Preferred: BLS Provider certified by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Preferred: Law Enforcement background.
• Preferred: Management of Aggressive Behavior credential.
• Preferred: Security Professional credential.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Ensure a safe environment by providing security services, patrolling premises, monitoring access, and responding to threats. Investigate and document incidents, maintain emergency preparedness, assist staff and visitors, and report problems or equipment issues.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Wisconsin Concealed Weapons License (CCW) to be obtained within 90 days (3 months) of hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following are preferred

• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Law Enforcement.
• Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc.
• Security Professional.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

16 hours per week / Rotating Days & Weekend

Security, Law Enforcement, Or Military Experience Preferred.

Successful completion of Security Training Academy must be completed during probationary period.

Expected to work 16 hrs/week, 3:00pm - 11:00pm.
