Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Part-Time/ FLEX Security Officers for the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant in Liberty, NC. Officers will perform patrols, access control, and incident documentation to maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.

We require weekend and holiday availability, reliability, and prior security or customer service experience. The role is boots-on-the-ground with growth opportunities for dependable team members who can respond quickly to incidents and stay

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of security experience.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access and log visits.
• Verify credentials of incoming individuals and vehicles.
• Document and maintain visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals.
• Protect others and equipment while enforcing policies.
• Monitor and report suspicious behavior and security issues.
• Observe monitor cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas to identify risks.
• Respond to distress calls and emergencies with local responders.

Part-Time/ FLEX Security Officers

Security Officers $17.50 p/hr.

This is a Part Time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Applicants must Be Available Between Mornings AND Evenings and holidays, as needed.

Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields.

Must be reasonably physically fit and able to stand and walk for periods of time.

This position is an active, boots-on-the-ground role. Security Officer Positions:

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
