Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring a Flex Security Officer in Plano, TX. The role covers 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with weekend, evening, and holiday availability. Applicants must be flexible with schedule and respond to assignments on short notice.

A high level of professionalism and customer service is required at the headquarters site. Responsibilities include patrols, access control at the gatehouse, front desk duties, CCTV monitoring, and maintaining visitor logs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state licensing required.
• Professional demeanor and appearance required.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Control guest access and log vehicles as needed.
• Verify credentials of entrants and maintain visitor logs.
• Enforce site rules and report safety concerns.
• Monitor surveillance where applicable and document incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and notify local responders as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service at the front desk and gatehouse.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment across sites.

Marksman Security LLC is hiring immediately for a Flex Security Officer

PLANO, TX

1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts

Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, if needed.

Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Hiring for multiple sites — full-time, part-time, and all shifts.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

The site is Headquaters location, and will require the hightest level of professionalism, customer service, and high quality candidates with excellent work ethics.

Required to have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

What You'll Do

• Rover — Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity
• Gatehouse — Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors
• Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
