Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is currently seeking Part-Time Security Officers for the Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant located in Liberty, North Carolina. This boots-on-the-ground role requires reliability, a strong sense of duty, and the ability to respond quickly to incidents.

The position offers a starting rate of $17.50 per hour with opportunities to earn more through attendance bonuses and reliable shift coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state security license required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of security experience.
• Must be physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject violators when needed.
• Verify credentials of individuals and vehicles.
• Document visitor logs and notify residents of arrivals.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter to identify safety risks.
• Respond to calls of distress and emergencies and contact first responders.

Part-Time / FLEX Security Officers

Security Officers $17.50 p/hr.

This is a Part Time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Applicants must be available between mornings and evenings and holidays, as needed. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields.

Must be reasonably physically fit and able to stand and walk for periods of time.

Security Officer Positions:

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid state licensing
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
