Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring immediately for FLEX Security Officers at our Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in Jackson, TN. This part-time role requires weekend and holiday availability and offers $18.00 per hour with a quarterly attendance bonus.

You will perform routine patrols, enforce site policies, and ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors. Ideal candidates have prior security or customer service experience, are 18+, and can obtain a TN Guard Card or already possess one.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• TN Guard Card preferred, or ability to obtain one.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service or security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• This position may require physical activity (crawling, climbing stairs, standing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage guest/visitor access and eject trespassers when necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a visitor log and notify residents of arrivals.
• Assist in protecting people and equipment while enforcing policies.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and assist in preventing vandalism or theft.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol interior/exterior perimeters to identify risks.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, prohibited items).
• Respond to calls of distress or emergencies and contact first responders as needed.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Ensure accurate submission of required documentation.
• Enforce all rules/regulations and follow procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Weekend and holiday availability is required.

There is the ability to obtain up to 30 hous per week.

Security Officer Positions:

• Foot Patrol Officer: Conducts foot patrols, responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity. Officers must remain alert, professional, and proactive throughout their shift — representing the standard of excellence our client expects on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
