GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a vigilant security guard to protect premises during Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and collaborate with a team to maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors.

Ideal candidates have basic experience in security or related fields, the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods, and a commitment to accuracy, grooming standards, and E-Verify compliance where required.

Qualifikationen

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to notice discrepancies or hazards.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic surveillance tools.
• Comfort with standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.
• Ability to collaborate with team members and follow directions.

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Make regular patrols around the property and scan predetermined points as directed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
