Job summary

GDI Security Services is seeking a reliable security guard to ensure safety at our premises. This full-time role involves monitoring for theft or violence, detailing reports, and collaborating within a team environment.

Candidates should preferably have previous security experience and the ability to manage a light physical workload. We offer benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program and uniforms at no cost. Weekly pay is provided!

• Fill out reports with a high level of detail.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan designated points.

We are looking for a responsible and dependable security guard to help ensure safety and security at our premises. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and reliable.

Schedule Hours:

Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Fill out reports with high level of detail.
• Review reports and communicate effectively.
• Proficient with computer.
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Successfully use the provided software to annotate events that occur during shift.
• Make regular trips around the property and scan the pre-determined points as directed by management.
• Work as part of a team
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, or other related fields is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle a light physical workload. Ability to stand and/or walk assigned patrols.
• Strong attention to detail
• S. Diploma or equivalent
• Meet and continuously maintain grooming standards.
