Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time onsite role in Clayton, MO. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM CST. You will use visitor management software, operate CCTV and access-control systems, and assist during emergencies while maintaining a secure workplace.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in security or related fields, with eligibility to obtain/maintain an armed security license. Sponsorship is not provided.

## Security OfficerApply: Clayton - 7700 Forsyth Blvd (Corporate) (10109): Full time: Posted Today: 1655704**Position Purpose:** Performs various duties specifically connected with protecting the employees, tenants, visitors, guests and property of the Corporation against threat or harm. **Key Details:** This is an onsite position based in Clayton, MO. Hours are Monday-Friday 6:30AM-2:30PM CST. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J -1, OPT, or CPT. • Provide polished customer service experience to all employees, tenants, and visitors while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.• Utilize visitor management software to document proper access, egress, and ensure host contact for visitors and guests.• Operate applicable physical security systems for access control, visitor management, emergency response notification and closed-circuit television.• Provide precise, informative, directions for facility navigation.• Obtain and relay vital information during emergency response situations. Escorts and supports emergency medical services.• Active engagement in facility entrance monitoring and lobby control during events, incidents, or emergencies.• Understands and adheres to proper firearm safety, maintenance, and best tactical practice while maintaining an 80% proficiency on firearm qualifications.• Carry a firearm and maintain all required certifications, permits, qualifications, and training necessary to safely and effectively perform armed security responsibilities.• Performs other duties as assigned.• Complies with all policies and standards. **Education/Experience**: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of security, public safety or related experience required. Prior law enforcement/military/or first responder experience preferred.**Licenses/Certifications:**Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an armed security license as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
