Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and staff. You will patrol buildings and grounds, inspect access points, respond to alarms, and document incidents to support risk management.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, at least 2 years of related security experience, and strong communication and judgment. You will work full-time on site, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 18+ years old
• 2+ years security-related experience preferred
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Valid driver’s license (if required)

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas
• Assist with emergency response procedures
• Escort residents and team members after hours
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance
• Secure and unlock areas per policy

Pay Range:

15.00 - 18.80
