Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment for residents, guests and staff. You will patrol, inspect entry points, respond to alarms, investigate incidents, and document logs to support daily operations and risk management.

The role emphasizes clear communication, multitasking across priorities, and adherence to safety and infection-control practices, with opportunities for on-shift progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license (if required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points.
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity.
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas.
