Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street Boston is seeking a Security Officer to join our Forbes Five-Star team. You will patrol hotel and residence premises, deter intrusion and ensure guest and employee safety, maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays; excellent communication and reporting skills; prior security experience preferred; First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Human relations skills; able to handle difficult situations positively and professionally.
• Investigation and report writing skills are a must.
• Familiarity with Windows applications.
• Security experience or related background preferred; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel and residence premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates; circulate among guests and staff to ensure safety.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Security team as a Security Officer!

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Patrol hotel and residence premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. He/she also circulates among guests, patrons, and employees to ensure safety and protect property.
• Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Excellent Human Relations skills; able to deal with difficult situations in a positive, effective manner; Accommodating and approachable demeanor a must.
• Excellent investigative skills and report writing skills a must.
• Must be familiar with all Window applications.
• Previous Security experience or similar (law enforcement, military, fire rescue) preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certified preferred.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
