Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street Boston is seeking a Security Officer to join our Forbes Five-Star team. You will patrol premises, monitor access, and respond to incidents while engaging with guests and colleagues to ensure safety and security.

We value strong communication, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor; prior security experience and First Aid/CPR are preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Excellent Human Relations skills; able to deal with difficult situations in a positive, effective manner; accommodating and approachable demeanor a must.
• Excellent investigative skills and report writing skills a must.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Security team as a Security Officer!

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Patrol hotel and residence premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. He/she also circulates among guests, patrons, and employees to ensure safety and protect property.
• Ability to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Excellent Human Relations skills; able to deal with difficult situations in a positive, effective manner; Accommodating and approachable demeanor a must.
• Excellent investigative skills and report writing skills a must.
• Must be familiar with all Window applications.
• Previous Security experience or similar (law enforcement, military, fire rescue) preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certified preferred.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
