Job summary

Priebe Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to patrol outdoor sites in Austin, TX on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to follow procedures to protect people and property.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, pass a background check and drug test, and begin Texas DPS Level II licensure after hire. We offer competitive pay, PTO, a company gym membership, and licensing fee reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
• Be able to meet Texas DPS Level II licensure requirements and take all steps to obtain license, upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Protect the property and ensure that only authorized employees and guests enter the premises to reduce the risk of theft and other disturbances.
• Monitor surveillance equipment to support other security measures in place to maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders as needed, including calling them in case of an emergency.
• Fill out daily reports that detail any irregularities that occurred to ensure a solid documentation of all activities on the premises.

Job Skills / Requirements

Monday to Friday 2300-0700

Ideal candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of computers and excellent writing skills. Previous Security Experience is preferred but not required. These accounts mostly consist of outdoor patrolling.
