Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is hiring FLEX Security Officers for the Toyota Motor Manufacturing site in Jackson, TN. This part-time role requires weekend and holiday availability and pays $18.00 per hour.

Applicants must be flexible with their schedule and capable of responding to assignments on short notice. You will conduct routine patrols, enforce site policies, and maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• TN Guard Card preferred or the ability to obtain one.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service or security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
• This position may require physical activity such as walking, standing, and climbing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests.
• Verify credentials of incoming individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of arrivals.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter to identify safety and security risks.
• Respond to distress calls and emergencies.
• Enforce site policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Security Officer Positions:

• Foot Patrol Officer: Conducts foot patrols, responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity. Officers must remain alert, professional, and proactive throughout their shift — representing the standard of excellence our client expects on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
