Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking part-time Flex Security Officers to join our team. Duties include greeting residents/guests, controlling access, and patrolling premises to deter incidents.

Applicants should have prior security or customer service experience, be 18+, and able to stand/walk for extended periods. A background and drug screening are required. This role offers a $18.50 hourly wage with quarterly attendance rewards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older.

• Professional demeanor and appearance expected.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum one year of customer service or security experience.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
• Physical requirements include standing/walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet residents and guests in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Manage guest/visitor access and monitor entry points.
• Verify credentials of individuals/vehicles.
• Document and log visitors; notify residents of arrivals.
• Support safety and security by enforcing rules and reporting concerns.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms when applicable.
• Patrol interior/exterior areas to identify risks.
• Respond to distress, alarms, or emergencies and contact first responders.

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for Flex Security ( Part Time ) Officers! $18.50 per hour

Applicants must Be Available Between Mornings AND Evenings and holidays, if needed.

Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Previous experience in security OR customer service fields is preferred.

Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises.

Security Officer Positions:

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc.
• Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespasser or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
• Other duties to be determined by management
