Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an overnight Security Officer to help create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates while protecting hotel property and maintaining order.

You will patrol, monitor CCTV, control access, report incidents, and assist with emergency procedures across properties. Bilingual English/Spanish and CPR/First Aid certification are valued assets; Microsoft Office skills are helpful.

Qualifications

• Prior security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain after hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills, calm and tactful under pressure.
• Clear written communication skills and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel interior and exterior areas to identify safety hazards or suspicious activity.
• Monitor and report activity using security cameras, maintaining detailed logs of observations.
• Control access at associate entrances, issue and collect visitor passes, and safeguard keys to critical areas.
• Investigate theft, property damage, trespassing, or personal injury incidents and prepare clear, detailed reports.
• Respond to guest disturbances or rule violations, taking appropriate action to maintain order.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire, severe weather, medical, or evacuation situations.
• Manage lost and found inventory and generate associate identification cards.
• Support leadership with additional security-related tasks as needed.

What You’ll Bring
