Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries seeks a highly skilled security-focused professional to evaluate technologies and test vulnerabilities across software and hardware systems. The role involves planning policy for cutting-edge equipment and implementing in State Department resources.

The position requires lab-based network design, vulnerability testing, and detailed documentation for senior managers, plus the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under tight deadlines and pursue emergent tech

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Interim Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a final TOP SECRET clearance and SCI access.
• Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required Security Clearance/access approvals.
• Five years of experience and a master’s degree in CS/engineering, or ten years with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience configuring, designing, and maintaining Windows servers; testing PC/network software components in a lab.
• Proficiency programming software and CLI; setting up patch and backup management solutions.
• Fluent in VMware, C, C++, Objective C, Java; experience with networks, protocols, and scripting.
• Knowledge of Android/iOS/Blackberry OS; system architecture and device management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates new technologies and security vulnerabilities for potential use in State Department resources.
• Assists in planning policies for state-of-the-art equipment and implementations.
• Tests software and hardware vulnerabilities for networks.
• Works with a lab-focused LAN; designs and deploys network and video wiring infrastructure.
• Analyzes computer and network architectures to optimize performance, security, and testing.
• Documents testing procedures, results, and recommendations for senior managers.
• Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software issues under tight deadlines.
• Researches, tests, reviews, and reports on emergent technologies.
