Job summary

TorchStone Global is seeking a full-time Security Manager to lead security programs in the New York City Metro area for a Fortune 50 client. You will own vendor and stakeholder management, engage with partners, and drive security risk management within a high-visibility, on-site role.

This role requires senior-level security expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to operate with little guidance. You will partner with business units and local teams to deliver security at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Public Administration, Business Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience on a corporate security team with progressive management roles or equivalent.
• Most recent role must be in a corporate security environment.
• Experience with access control and physical security systems (Lenel, CCTV) and related hardware.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility across organizational levels.
• Expertise in security risk management and processes for a matrixed security org.
• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guard force vendor management and compliance efforts.
• Contribute to strategic security programs with global process alignment.
• Lead security workflows crucial to operations and strategic success.
• Manage security outreach with regional partners and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with facilities, IT, and legal for security needs.
• Maintain relationships with vendor and client stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting planning and vendor invoice submissions.
• Support threat intelligence collection and analysis.
• Assist with security design for events and site launches.
• Liaise with external law enforcement and partner security orgs.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and reports for leadership.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
